Influence, Influencing and Influencer

 In this 21st century, world has totally changed as it was before few century ago. Before people used to live in the forest, in the bare land, hunting all day for food without any proper objectives or goals. But as time past, they learned the importance of house, they learned the importance of basic needs and they learned that it is necessary to have a specific goal, so that they can contribute to the society or country they live. Because of that, at this present time, we are so lucky to have roads, buildings, health care services, well developed communication systems and other necessary facilities.

Have you ever thought that how we human being (social animal) have developed so much as compare to other species in earth? Have you ever though how fast we are evolving as compare to other animals and how we are controlling other animals in earth?  Well, the answer for these question is influence.

If you have done self evaluation then you will know how easily we get influence by the behavior of other people. If not then lets do some evaluation. Do you have cell phone? Which brand? Apple or Samsung right? So, there are lots of cell phone brand, for example: oppo, one plus, huawei, real me, google, nokia, etc. But why did you choose apple or samsung?   The answer is you get influenced by these companies and by other people behavior. In your mind, through the advertisement and through people opinions, these companies have already played vital role to influence you and you have already get influenced.

Now you might think, what is the role of influence in human being in the past. Well, there was a significant role of influence or influencer as well as in present time and in future. In the past, who used to live in a house? The answer is bird in the nest, rat or rabbit in hole and ant in the ant nest which protect them from rain, sun and protect them from other animals threat. Thus, we human being were very active in learning and getting influenced by any things. So , we learned the importance of house and like that we learn each an every skills that are essential to survive and became most developed animal in earth.

These days, the word influence is the most popular word in our society. And becoming an influencer has become the aim of most of the people. Oh sorry, till now, i haven't tell you the definition of this popular word and that is influence/influencing/influencer/influenced. Here, i have given the definition  in a simple way:

Influence: the power to change someone without direct force.

Influencing: the process of influencing.

Influencer: the person who influence other.

Influenced: the person who get influence from other.

So, lets explain these popular words with examples. If someone suggest you to read a book or if you find reading books will boost your knowledge then this is influence. And the person who is suggesting you to read a book, is a influencer. Similarly, if you start to read book from that time then you are the influenced person. And the whole process is called influencing.


Now, after learning this, you might think that influence is a positive word. But for your information, influence can be good or bad. For instance, you have a friend, who is career focused and always tries to learn new skills for his development. And he suggest you to learn new skills or you get influenced by him and started learning new skills then this is a positive influence. Whereas, if you have a friend who does not focus on his goal and consumes drugs and encourage you to take those drugs then it is a negative influence.

We can find lots of influencer in social media, in college, in program or in society, who are sharing their knowledge, experience and opinion, but that does not mean we need get influenced by everybody. It totally depend upon us, whether this knowledge is suitable or other. You have to check whether the person who is influencing you has proper knowledge or not. You have to check whether they are telling through their experience or not. 

Therefore, i suggest all my readers to get influence everyday so that you can set new goals and contribute to the place where you born, make your family proud. And be aware from negative influncer.
